Optiship-3rd Meeting

Our DrC members, Fotis Oikonomou & Katerina Dimitriou, attended the 3^rd meeting for Optiship project on February 2, 2023 at University of Piraeus. The project is co-funded by the European Commission and the Hellenic Programme of Structural Funds and its objective is to deliver a TRL9 product to the shipping market via a Life-Cycle Assessment (LCA), and a state-of-science Operational Decision Support Tool (Interlinked models and algorithms) for economic and environmental optimization of maritime structures and ships.

DANAOS participates in this project as WP Leader for the monitoring, validation and certification of the Vesselslife platform, also we are involved in the remaining work packages which are related to the creation of the models and KPIS of LCA and the algorithm programming of the platform.
