Reship Kick-off-Meeting

The Kick-off-Meeting of the EU Funded Project ‘’RESHIP’’ took place on 1^st of September, 2022 virtually.

The overall aim of RESHIP project is to enhance the energy efficiency performance and to address the current challenges for hydrogen usage onboard, including high energy demand, abrupt power spikes, demanding energy storage requirements.DANAOS is a member of the Consortium and its main role is the provision of the analysis of the maritime and inland fleet structures and division into suitable fleet families. Moreover, another significant task is the conduction of the performance of Life Cycle Assessments (LCA) and TCO calculations for new-builds and retrofits to identify business cases in comparison to reference cases without the RESHIP solutions.
