MOSES GA – Valencia, Spain

The MOSES General Assembly was held on April 4-5, with the Foundation of Valencia Port hosting the meeting at the premises of Valencia Port Authority. The MOSES project is aimed at improving the sustainability of the European Short Sea Shipping (SSS) network, and representatives from various organizations gathered to discuss the progress made in this endeavor.

Among those in attendance were senior researchers Dimitris Kaklis and Fotis Oikonomou from DANAOS, who presented the progress made on the design of the MOSES sustainability framework. This framework will be a multi-dimensional evaluation of the added value brought by MOSES technologies to the EU SSS network, and is an important step in achieving the goals of the project.

The MOSES project is a collaborative effort between several organizations from across Europe, including research institutions, port authorities, and shipping companies. Its aim is to develop and implement innovative technologies and solutions that will improve the sustainability of the EU SSS network, while also promoting economic growth and job creation.
