DT4GS Sailed on 23.06.22

We are pleased to announce that the EU funded research and innovation project DT₄GS (Digital twin for green shipping ) sailed on 23 of June  from Danaos premises to deliver an “Open Digital Twin Framework” for both shipping companies and the broader waterborne industry actors to tap into new opportunities made available through the use of Digital Twins(DTs). The project will enable shipping stakeholders to embrace the full spectrum of DT innovations to support smart green shipping in the upgrade of existing ships and new vessels. The project enters shipping in the digitalization era with opinion leaders as participants such as  INLECOM (coordinator), Danaos,  EURONAV, STARBULK, FICANTIERY, ATHENA RC, GLAFCOS, RINA and warmly welcomed from maritime community. Our Dimitris Kaklis,  the Danaos scientific coordinator , presented the first LL (living lab) on board for DT implementation plan. Follow are links for relevant aricles
